How preorders work

What a preorder is

A preorder product is not yet available for delivery. Any release date or window shown on the product page comes from the manufacturer or distributor and is an estimate rather than a guaranteed date, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Price and payment

Full payment is required for preorder items. They will be shipped when they become available. The total, including applicable shipping charges, is shown before confirmation and paid at checkout.

Availability and mixed orders

In-stock items ship as soon as ready. Coming-soon items will be shipped within approximately 10 business days; preorders follow the estimated date or window shown on the product page. Items with different availability purchased in the same order ship together once all are available. Place separate orders to receive in-stock items sooner.

Release or product changes

Estimated arrival dates come from manufacturers or distributors and may change. Japanime will seek to update them promptly when the manufacturer communicates changes. Images, packaging or non-essential details may also change. If a change substantially affects essential features, or a delay becomes incompatible with performance of the order, the customer may request cancellation and a refund, without prejudice to statutory rights.

Cancellation

The customer may request cancellation before shipping by emailing info@japanime.it. Refunds and mandatory consumer rights remain subject to the applicable terms and law. Orders confirmed with a deposit before the transition retain the conditions communicated when purchased.

Unavailability, withdrawal and warranty

If the manufacturer or distributor cancels the product, or Japanime cannot supply it, all collected amounts are refunded without undue delay. The 14-day right of withdrawal from delivery remains applicable to non-personalised goods. The legal guarantee of conformity also begins on delivery.

Legal guarantee of conformity

Who it covers and duration

The legal guarantee applies to goods purchased by a Consumer, meaning a natural person acting outside their business, commercial, craft or professional activity. The responsible seller is Japanime di Daniele Ballini.

The legal guarantee lasts two years from delivery. Under the applicable Italian rules, claims concerning defects that were not fraudulently concealed expire within twenty-six months from delivery.

Lack of conformity

Goods conform when they match their description and promised qualities, are fit for their ordinary purpose and have the characteristics reasonably expected. For a collectible sold as new, packaging described as intact or having collectible value may also be relevant.

Remedies

In the event of a defect, the Consumer is first entitled to have conformity restored by repair or replacement free of charge, unless the chosen remedy is impossible or disproportionate. In the cases provided by law, the Consumer may obtain a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract.

How to request assistance

Email info@japanime.it with the order number, product, description of the issue and useful photographs or video. Original packaging and a paper receipt are not absolute requirements when purchase can be proved by other means.

Damage in transit

Report any damage as soon as possible and keep photographs of the packaging. Prompt notice helps with the carrier claim but does not replace or shorten the legal guarantee.

Payments

Accepted methods

The payment methods actually available are shown at checkout and may vary by country, currency, amount and device. The footer automatically displays the payment networks enabled in the Shopify store.

Japanime does not charge additional fees for cards or other payment methods where prohibited by law.

Bank transfer

Payment may be made by bank transfer to Japanime di Daniele Ballini, Banca Sella, IBAN IT79A0326802800052153588730, BIC/SWIFT SELBIT2BXXX. Include the order number in the payment reference. Funds must arrive within 5 business days of confirmation and preparation starts after clearance.

Security, charge and confirmation

Payments are processed through secure connections by enabled providers. Where a provider processes the payment, Japanime does not receive or store the full card number. The order is confirmed by email.

Preorders and refunds

Full payment is required for new preorders; the total, including applicable shipping charges, is shown and paid at checkout. Already confirmed deposit orders retain their original terms. Refunds are normally made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Technical cookies are required for operation and security. Analytics, non-essential functionality, marketing and profiling are enabled only where an appropriate legal basis exists and, where required, after consent.
